Arie Crown

Ive been working on a 45 minute, completely customized show for my new friends at Arie Crown Day School. It’s a hefty ask, but so far, I’m feeling pretty confident about the end result.

Ive been asked to essentially redo everything i do with the music they’re provided. I have to stay in the proper lane for the audience, and I love the challenge.

I’m currently using RIPXDaw to extract stems, and then recreate the songs with what I’ll have on stage. Currently the list is:

2 Malletstations, 1 drumset, 5 LED drums, 1 hybrid DJ/Drum station, a bunch of lockers, shovels, helmets, and barrels, and side LED walls. :)

My First Now

Derek Sivers has always been a big influence of mine. Intelligent, accurate and selfless with his time. The point of the ‘now’ approach, is to be more present - updating in real time, as opposed to ‘about’ which is what was accomplished. This page will act as two things - a celebration of what I get to do in real time, and as a record of how it went! I’m very excited.
